This is made possible through McLaren’s Metal Injection Molding – an advanced process that enables proprietary metal blends to be precisely formed. It also unlocks the McLaren Structural Mesh, optimizing mass while preserving strength and stability.

McLaren Carbon-Fiber Bonnet

The carbon-fiber bonnet along the back of the iron is an aesthetic nod to the brand’s racing and automotive heritage. However, it provides more than just looks. As an integrated piece of the overall structure, it manages vibration at impact to refine sound and feel and houses the unique calibration weight system, which produces various head weights without sacrificing the engineering properties.

Heat Cut Sole Design

Delivering speed through the ground and relief where it matters most, the sole geometry is engineered to reduce drag and control turf interaction through every phase of impact. Camber, leading edge curvature and heel cut relief work together to manage how the club enters and exits the ground – maintaining clubhead speed while preventing excessive digging.
